Such a lovely cottage and warm welcome on arrival. The Cream Tea went down very well. Although it rained every day ( not all day each day thank goodness!) we had a great time visiting lots of places. We had some lovely meals in The Kings Head Inn in Llandovery. Hope to return again in the Spring! Many thanks Sue and Jonah and see you soon Barney and Teddy xHazel and John - October 2019

It was our second time here in Basel Cottage! All we can say is: In more than 10 years of holidays all over Great Britain, this definitely is the best cottage we have ever stayed in! The location is fantastic, so peaceful, so quiet! Thank you Sue & Jonah for everything – we will miss Wales and Basel Cottage! You are fantastic hosts! We do hope that we can come back again one day!!Walter & Monika, from Vienna, Austria - April /May 2016
Thank you very much for your friendly and warm welcome – not to mention the little touch with the slate ‘Welcoming Sign’ and the delicious Cream Tea. You can tell how much thought and love and of course hard work that goes into running this beautiful cottage! There is so much space inside and outside and the views and tranquility of the setting is second to none. It was absolutely perfect for us and Murphy enjoyed playing and exploring outside. To bring the motorbike and the car certainly paid off and the roads around here are great ‘biker roads’. There is still so much to do and see! Thanks again from all of us xxxPaul, Birgitt, Carmen, Scott & Murphy the Cockapoo - April 2017
Thank you both for another fantastic week – yes it has been as marvellous as the first time. We are looking at dates for our next visit!Ali and Dawn and Max the Staffordshire Terrier - May 15

Sue and Jonah, 2nd time for us in your lovely cottage. Weather’s not been that great but we had a relaxing week. Patch enjoyed it with plenty of walks with Barney and Teddy – they got on so well. Thank you for the Tea and Cream Scones when we arrived. You are great hosts! Hope to see you soon. All the best, Diane, Clive and Patch xDiane, Clive & Patch 🐕 from South Wales - June 2019
Excellent stay. Sue and Jonah provided a delicious Cream Tea on arrival! Very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. Walked miles! Llyn y Fan Fach and parts of the Brecon Way. It is worth visiting the National Trust Gold Mines. Ate at The Castle Hotel which was very friendly. Good to avoid the crowds so will definitely be back! Many Thanks.Allen and Jill - August 2019

Delightful cottage, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, thanks for the friendly welcome!Andrea & David from Mandrevillars France
A beautiful find for a last minute booking. Enjoyed the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and the British Birds of Prey Centre on the way here. Agree with other guests that the RSPB Walk is well worth doing. Stunning views all around Llyn y Fan Fach and Llyn y Fan Fawr. Both Dinefwr Castle and Carreg Cennen Castle are well worth doing.Jeremy and Fiona - July 2018
