Not many words needed, just a brilliant stay – 4th time! Asked the dogs Max & Boyce what they thought of it – wagged their tails and started to bark, full of excitement!!!! – Guess they agreed! Diolch yn fawr to Sue & Jonah.Marcel, Annick, Max & Boyce - June 2016
We have really enjoyed our week at Basel Cottage. The welcome with scones and tea was much appreciated. Sue and Jonah have been great hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. The standard of accommodation is first class and very comfortable. Sheba certainly enjoyed her walks! Watching the wildlife from the lounge window-seat was brilliant and we have many photos! We have been quite lucky with the weather apart from the storm on Friday! We have had several cottage holidays but Basel Cottage has been the best by far – Thank you Sue and Jonah.Keith, Linda & Sheba the German Shepherd - May 2016

By far the best cottage we have stayed in!! Sue and Jonah welcomed us with such warmth and have continued to be great hosts and company throughout our stay. We cannot wait to come back again!! Willow has loved the field and woods as well as sitting in the window watching the birds. Thank you for a relaxing break. This is a very special, magical place.Gemma, Ben and Willow 🐕 - Sept / Oct 2019

Dear Sue and Jonah, had a lovely time here in your lovely cottage. Weather not too bad and enjoyed the countryside. Cooper loved the open air and we hope to visit again. Thank you very much.Angie, Kevin, Jake, Luke and Cooper the Spaniel - July 2016
Excellent stay. Sue and Jonah provided a delicious Cream Tea on arrival! Very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. Walked miles! Llyn y Fan Fach and parts of the Brecon Way. It is worth visiting the National Trust Gold Mines. Ate at The Castle Hotel which was very friendly. Good to avoid the crowds so will definitely be back! Many Thanks.Allen and Jill - August 2019
Great welcome by Sue and Jonah. Cottage well worth its 5* status and the grounds were perfect for the dogs. Buzzards, woodpeckers and squirrels frequent visitors. Will definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit this area of WalesShirley and Martin. South Ayrshire, Scotland. August 2015

Such a lovely cottage and warm welcome on arrival. The Cream Tea went down very well. Although it rained every day ( not all day each day thank goodness!) we had a great time visiting lots of places. We had some lovely meals in The Kings Head Inn in Llandovery. Hope to return again in the Spring! Many thanks Sue and Jonah and see you soon Barney and Teddy xHazel and John - October 2019
From the moment Sue telephoned me at home before starting our holiday, I felt totally reassured by the current measures she had undertaken in the present climate to ensure that we had a relaxing holiday. We received a very warm welcome from Sue and Jonah on arrival at Basel Cottage – they are excellent hosts. This holiday home is a credit to all their hard work. Well appointed home with a fascinating history, set within glorious grounds. Enjoyed the walks straight from the door especially the woods. Wishing you both and your lovely dogs all the very best for the future.Liz, Tim, Cerys🐕 and Megan🐕 from Cirencester - July 2020
