Great relaxing holiday over the New Year.  Cottage lovely and it had everything you need plus more.  The snow made everything even more pretty and Sue and Jonah were wonderful hosts.

Another Christmas at Basel Cottage – Our perfect place, peaceful, restful week with perfect weather.  The cottage has everything you need.  Great dog walks with Jonah, Sue, and Barney and Teddy who got on so well with Jasmine.  Perfect hosts and we DO NOT want to leave!  Great shops in Llandovery.  Thank you for the perfect week.

Our first visit to Basel Cottage and what a WET few days but NO problem for us outdoor types!  Fantastic cottage that exceeded our expectations.  Visited Dinefwr National Trust and the National Botanic Garden of Wales on Monday Doggy Day.  Enjoyed food at the Kings Head twice and the Whitehall both in Llandovery.  Thank you for your hospitality Sue and Jonah and the cosy surroundings.  We will all be back as we love our Wales Holidays.

Well! Jonah and Sue, what can we say!  Absolutely brilliant.  We have only travelled 25 miles for our little stay and what a jewel you both have and we have found.  Everything about your wonderful cottage is spot on.  The cottage is amazing from the fire place to the bed!  As for the grounds, the dogs thoroughly enjoyed them.  Well done to you all.  xxx  P.S.  We will be back!

We have once again visited Basel Cottage for our ‘Dog Holiday’.  We first came here in 2014 and have continued to come back most years.  Our dogs cannot contain their excitement as they patiently wait at each gate in the grounds for it to open!  They don’t forget what lays beyond!  As for the adults, we find peace, calm and tranquility.  Thanks, as always, Sue, Jonah, Barney and Teddy for an amazing few days. x

An amazing place, cottage is immaculate with everything you could possibly need.  The gorgeous touches like the Welcome Heart and the home-baked scones are great!  Jonah and Sue are superb hosts, on hand should you need anything.  Our dogs Ty and Elsa have absolutely loved the woods, thank you!

“A wonderful time, as always”, “Jonah and Sue make it extra special”. Once again, the Cooke family have enjoyed the superb facilities provided by the lovely cottage and the wonderful hospitality – unsurpassed in our experience of many holiday lets.  In fact, Basel Cottage isn’t a holiday let to us, more a ‘home from home’.  We have had a few sad moments, sharing our memories of our beloved dogs, Missy and Badger. However,  we are happy that they have now found their final resting place here in the woods at Basel Cottage.  The support and kindness and peace and happiness we have found here is just glorious.  With much love.

This is our fourth visit down to Basel Cottage and we will never get bored of it.  Tanner and Amber have thoroughly enjoyed the freedom in the fields and woods.  The house has been lovely, so quiet and peaceful.  Thank you Jonah and Sue for the lovely stay and the warm welcome – so lovely to be back, we have missed this! Wow, what a place!  Honestly felt so homely and luxurious – Basel Cottage really is the cottage that keeps on giving – absolutely LOVED our visit and will defo be back!  Thanks Jonah for our Shooting afternoon – so much fun and could honestly listen to your stories all day.  Much love xxx
