It has been great to visit and see the cottage, woods, fields and stream at a different time of year.  We absolutely love our breaks here and have benefited from some great weather.  Again we have enjoyed our daily wander through the fields to the woods and Sully has exhausted himself with all his exploring.  Sue and Jonah have been wonderful hosts again.  They are always welcoming and accommodating of any needs that arise.  Thank you.  Love the Tideswells.

After years of hearing how special this place is from Phil and Pascale, we were so excited to finally come and stay.  It truly is a magical place!  The morning bird song, the woodland wanders and the beautiful views are just perfect!

We love our holiday here every year and this year was no exception.  It is literally the only place we find we can completely switch off!  The dogs love it!

Thank you both so much for all your hard work to make such a wonderful holiday possible ….. just perfect!

Great relaxing holiday over the New Year.  Cottage lovely and it had everything you need plus more.  The snow made everything even more pretty and Sue and Jonah were wonderful hosts.

Another Christmas at Basel Cottage – Our perfect place, peaceful, restful week with perfect weather.  The cottage has everything you need.  Great dog walks with Jonah, Sue, and Barney and Teddy who got on so well with Jasmine.  Perfect hosts and we DO NOT want to leave!  Great shops in Llandovery.  Thank you for the perfect week.

Our first visit to Basel Cottage and what a WET few days but NO problem for us outdoor types!  Fantastic cottage that exceeded our expectations.  Visited Dinefwr National Trust and the National Botanic Garden of Wales on Monday Doggy Day.  Enjoyed food at the Kings Head twice and the Whitehall both in Llandovery.  Thank you for your hospitality Sue and Jonah and the cosy surroundings.  We will all be back as we love our Wales Holidays.

Well! Jonah and Sue, what can we say!  Absolutely brilliant.  We have only travelled 25 miles for our little stay and what a jewel you both have and we have found.  Everything about your wonderful cottage is spot on.  The cottage is amazing from the fire place to the bed!  As for the grounds, the dogs thoroughly enjoyed them.  Well done to you all.  xxx  P.S.  We will be back!
