Dear Sue, Jonah, Teddy and Barney, our first time at the cottage and I am sure it will not be our last.  The dogs have had the most wonderful time exploring the woods and I cannot remember them having so much freedom – Paradise!

From start to finish you have been fantastic, welcoming and your knowledge of the local area has helped us explore and enjoy every second.  Thank you for letting us use the cottage and become part of its’ memories.  Hopefully, see you again soon.

Sue, Jonah, Barney and Teddy, what a special fortnight!  Middle weekend was Sue and Jonah’s 40th Wedding Anniversary, what a wonderful celebration! We felt really honoured to be a part of it.  Thank you also for our lovely lemon cake in recognition of our 50th Wedding Anniversary.  The weather has been kind to us and we love coming here as you can see this is our 10th visit! Wow! What a wonderful place to stay.  Views to die for, peaceful countryside, from sitting having a meal looking out at the view to walking in the garden and woodland.  Perfect place for reactive/noise sensitive dogs.  Cottage is so comfortable and fully equipped with all that you need for a great holiday stay.  Sue and Jonah are wonderful hosts, they could not do enough for you and very helpful about where to go and what to see.  The Cream Tea on arrival was a lovely surprise and most welcome after a long journey.  Can’t wait to go again, we would highly recommend this cottage.  Matt, Aga, and Ava.

Sue, Jonah, Teddy and Barney, we have had a fantastic week staying in your wonderful cottage.  The accommodation, the views, the warm welcome we received are all first class.  It is like ‘Home from Home’.  Not only was it a break for us but also for Ivy and Holly who both loved running in the fields and the occasional trek in the woods.  We will definitely be back again.  Thanks for everything. x

Dear Sue and Jonah, Thank you for a glorious week with such a wonderful opportunity to stop and rest at Basel Cottage.  You have thought of everything we might need, plus so many additional little touches which were noticed.  The Welcome Afternoon Tea and dog treats went down very well at the start and as the week went on we found ourselves slowing down more and more with little need to leave!  We enjoyed just having family time, playing games and taking in the beautiful landscape and cabin in the woods.  Thanks for all you have done to make it so lovely!  We hope to be back sometime.  Best wishes.
