We have had a very relaxing week with lots of birds to watch. Cottage is so comfortable and nice cream tea as a welcome. See you next year.

We  have enjoyed a lovely week here. Perfect accommodation, we could have quite happily stayed another week. Wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

Perfect cottage, perfect hosts, perfect view. Only thing wrong with this holiday is that is has to end! Our second visit – can’t wait for our third. We love coming to see Sue and Jonah as much as the cottage, no wonder they have so many return visits, they’re doing everything right.

When going on holiday its everyones desire to arrive at your destination and feel at home. Sadly this is seldom the case until you plan a stay at Basel Cottage! ..this cottage ticks all the boxes even the ones not on the list. And there is more, the cottage comes with a friendly welcoming team (Sue, Jonah and Ben) totally at your service in a charming way.

Great welcome by Sue and Jonah. Cottage well worth its 5* status and the grounds were perfect for the dogs. Buzzards, woodpeckers and squirrels frequent visitors. Will definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit this area of Wales

A wonderful cottage in an amazing setting. The dogs love the gardens and forest and their own private river!! Taking two very tired dogs home but hopefully be back soon!
