This is our first stay at Basel Cottage.  What a gorgeous place, a beautiful comfortable cottage with a tranquil atmosphere , well equipped with everything you would possibly need.  Stunning views, with plenty of additional activities to enjoy, an amazing safe place to call home for the duration of our stay.  Sue and Jonah thank you, for making us so welcome and catering for the special needs of our old dog.  We have eaten out a few times and found the Kings Head in Llandovery very nice and dog friendly.  We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was a delight to meet everyone especially Barney and Teddy – Betty has.

What an absolute privilege to come and stay at Basel Cottage.  Never has a ‘Dog Friendly’ cottage even come close to this!!  Sue and Jonah are the perfect hosts and we are so very sad that our week is over!!  The cottage is stunning, the views amazing.  We loved some evening golf, had a games tournament and wandered to the Cabin in the Woods for sunrise.  The map in the kitchen gave our route planners inspiration and we have walked almost 35 miles.  Thank you.

Our third stay and the fourth booked for next year!  We cannot even begin to tell you how much we love being here – it’s just absolutely wonderful.  The BEST chill pill ever!  Sue and Jonah and the beauty boys thank you xxx.

Here we are again!  We love this place, Sue and Jonah.  Thank you so much for making it a ‘Home from Home’.  Despite the weather, we have walked miles – exploring Sarn Helen this time as well as old favourites.  Thank you Barney and Ted for putting up with an over exuberant Flynn (on the naughty step for his predilection for digging)!  Thank you Sue and Jonah and see you in October.

What a wonderful place.  It was our first holiday with our 4 month old Suzanna and we also have our big, troublesome shepherd, Luna.  So much space and safe, enclosed land to explore.  We have really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back. To Sue, Jonah, Barney and Teddy, Thank you for making our first holiday with our dogs a memorable one.  Your cottage is amazing.  You are fabulous hosts and the dogs are adorable.  It was lovely to see our two dogs playing with your two.  We all enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back to visit you all.  Thank you Jonah for spending time with Morgan, he loved it. Well, here we are again – I’ve lost count now of how many times we’ve come to this lovely place!  We love everything about it – Sue and Jonah make Basel Cottage a home from home.  The scenery is wonderful in all seasons.  Our old dog Tan, absolutely adored coming here – he, Barney and Ted played themselves senseless – now Flynn is learning, not that ‘the boys’ don’t have some reservations!!! THANK YOU BOTH.

Coming here is a little like coming home.  This was our second stay here and it was even better than we remembered.  The local shops are run by friendly and courteous people, the weather was perfect, even when raining and Jonah and Sue helped make this a very happy holiday.  We can thoroughly recommend the archery and shooting Jonah offers!  The cottage is clean, warm, comfortable and well equipt and we cannot wait for our next stay here!  Thank you very much!
