Despite planting over 3000 native trees over the past couple of years here at Basel Cottage, we are continuing with our programme of tree and shrub planting. Throughout our land and in our enclosed woodland we plan to ensure the woods remain for centuries to come. PLANT BRITAIN: We are now very happy to be supporting the Plant Britain Initiative launched recently by the BBC’s Countryfile programme. Plant Britain is an ambitious two-year challenge to get us all planting to help combat climate change. And at the same time, it will help to boost our wellbeing and wildlife.
