November 2024 saw Basel Cottage Holidays attend the prestigious Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards held at the award winning Plough Hotel & Restaurant in Rhosmaen, Llandeilo.  The awards were part of a Wales wide competition and they were judged by an independent panel.  We are thrilled to announce that Basel Cottage Holidays were chosen as the Gold Winners of the Best Dog Friendly Business in Carmarthenshire 2024 category.  This award saw us in competition with a myriad of dog friendly tourist attractions and businesses such as cafes, restaurants and shops as well as visitor accommodation throughout the county of Carmarthenshire.

The focus of the Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards 2024 was  ‘Best in Class’.  This means that the judges aim to identify a business that offers an unique and memorable experience for their guests and one where excellent customer service is at the forefront of all that they do.  We are honoured to have been recognised as a business that goes that extra mile to enhance the visitor experience and rewarded by being named Gold Winners of  the Best Dog Friendly Business in Carmarthenshire 2024. 

Additionally at this years’ Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards 2024, we were also announced as winners of a ‘Highly Commended’ Award in the category of Best Self Catering. This category was highly contended and we were thrilled to be named as a runner-up.
