This is our fourth visit down to Basel Cottage and we will never get bored of it.  Tanner and Amber have thoroughly enjoyed the freedom in the fields and woods.  The house has been lovely, so quiet and peaceful.  Thank you Jonah and Sue for the lovely stay and the warm welcome – so lovely to be back, we have missed this! We leave Basel Cottage reluctantly.   The kindness of our hosts will be a lasting memory as will the comfort and elegance of the cottage and the beauty of the surroundings.  Thank you Sue, thank you Jonah, for providing all that makes for a very enjoyable holiday.

Once again, we have enjoyed our stay – not quite sure if it’s 9th or 10th visit!  Love the slow pace of life here and enjoyed playing with the dogs.  Let us hope that next year we have Yolande with us when we come again and maybe a furry friend!  Take care, see you next year.  Love Penny and Clair xxx.

A wonderful week in a perfect cottage.  Sue and Jonah are wonderful hosts – helpful but not intrusive!  We walked Pen Y Fan and Llyn Y Fan Fach – great to explore an area of Wales we don’t know well.  The gardens and woods, hills and river are great for children and dogs; especially beautiful with the bluebells in bloom! We would love to come back one day.

Here we are again!  We love this place, Sue and Jonah.  Thank you so much for making it a ‘Home from Home’.  Despite the weather, we have walked miles – exploring Sarn Helen this time as well as old favourites.  Thank you Barney and Ted for putting up with an over exuberant Flynn (on the naughty step for his predilection for digging)!  Thank you Sue and Jonah and see you in October.
