Wow!! Beautiful property and beautiful people.  We have had a fantastic break made even more special by Jonah and Sue and of course Barney and Teddy.  We really feel privileged to have been able to share your fields, woods and river.  Thank you for giving Noal the opportunity to use your telescope and archery equipment.  We really do not want to leave and we are very much looking forward to returning in April x.

Well, here we are again – I’ve lost count now of how many times we’ve come to this lovely place!  We love everything about it – Sue and Jonah make Basel Cottage a home from home.  The scenery is wonderful in all seasons.  Our old dog Tan, absolutely adored coming here – he, Barney and Ted played themselves senseless – now Flynn is learning, not that ‘the boys’ don’t have some reservations!!! THANK YOU BOTH.

We had a lovely holiday in your beautiful cottage.  The walks to Llyn y Fan Fach and the Usk Reservoir were super with so few other visitors.  Lexi did her best to stop the squirrels eating all the bird food! Thank you Sue and Jonah.

Not many words needed, just a brilliant stay – 4th time!  Asked the dogs Max & Boyce what they thought of it – wagged their tails and started to bark, full of excitement!!!! – Guess they agreed! Diolch yn fawr to Sue & Jonah.

This is a wonderful home from home – everything that you need for a relaxing break.  Sue and Jonah are perfect hosts and the Cream Tea on arrival was a lovely welcome surprise.  The grounds are lovely for dog walking and Kukki does not want to go home!  We explored the area and went to the National Botanic Garden of Wales – Monday’s being Doggy Day!  There are so many places to visit and we loved sitting on the decking in the sunshine with a glass of wine! Dear Sue and Jonah, had a lovely time here in your lovely cottage.  Weather not too bad and enjoyed the countryside.  Cooper loved the open air and we hope to visit again.  Thank you very much.

What a wonderful cottage and fabulous hosts.  Despite wet weather and a heavy cold, we have had a lovely week and intend to return.  A much needed break in the peace and quiet.  Thank you.

We have had a wonderful week in your perfect cottage.  Thank you for a warm welcome and lovely cream tea when we arrived. After our days out and about it was a real pleasure to come “home” and relax in the garden.

A wonderful stay and do not want to leave. Loved watching the birds on the feeders and seeing the red kites. Matt enjoyed a night sleeping in the woods and Fenn loved splashing in the river. Lovely cottage and Sue has been a wonderful host.
