It was our second time here in Basel Cottage!  All we can say is:  In more than 10 years of holidays all over Great Britain, this definitely is the best cottage we have ever stayed in! The location is fantastic, so peaceful, so quiet!  Thank you Sue & Jonah for everything – we will miss Wales and Basel Cottage! You are fantastic hosts! We do hope that we can come back again one day!!

We have been to Wales many times and as ever it is good for the soul! Walk around Usk Reservoir STUNNING and Crychan Forest (Blue Trail) tranquil.  Returning home very relaxed and refreshed. Thanks!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Basel Cottage.  The cottage is extremely clean, well equipped and there are many leaflets, books and ideas for trips out and walks.  Our dogs loved the enclosed field, stream and woods and we loved the rustic benches / picnic tables around the property – especially the seats on the decking.  Sue & Jonah were brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, always on hand for advice, help and ideas.  Thank you for a lovely week!

A superb week, the cottage is comfortable and welcoming.  The location ideal and the weather was kind to us. We walked every day and had some good walks around Llandovery.

We feel deeply privileged to have spent another unique & wonderful week here in Llandovery at Basel Cottage.  The sun has enhanced and embraced our stay.  We have enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding hills and valleys particularly the snow on Pen y Fan.  Your warmth of welcome Sue and the superb quality and provision of the cottage has again been a great blessing – Many thanks!

We had the most wonderful week here at Basel Cottage.  The cottage is pure luxury and the best equipped cottage we have ever been to.  The views and walks were fantastic.  Sue & Jonah are brilliant hosts and our Cream Tea on arrival was an added bonus. We hope to return in the future.
