Fantastic hosts, wonderful place! Our second stay at Basel Cottage where we have had a very relaxing four days.  Weather was good for time of year, sunshine, showers, snow & frost – we will be back!

Had a lovely week here despite the weather. Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting. Had a lovely welcome by Sue with afternoon tea. Will have to come back when the sun is shining.

Our third stay at Basel Cottage and again we’ve had a wonderful stay. The cottage and settings are beautiful and the welcome that we received really is appreciated.  Sue and Jonah really are fantastic hosts and lovely people. See you next year!

Perfect cottage, perfect hosts, perfect view. Only thing wrong with this holiday is that is has to end! Our second visit – can’t wait for our third. We love coming to see Sue and Jonah as much as the cottage, no wonder they have so many return visits, they’re doing everything right.

When going on holiday its everyones desire to arrive at your destination and feel at home. Sadly this is seldom the case until you plan a stay at Basel Cottage! ..this cottage ticks all the boxes even the ones not on the list. And there is more, the cottage comes with a friendly welcoming team (Sue, Jonah and Ben) totally at your service in a charming way.
