Many thanks Sue and Jonah for a lovely week in your wonderful cottage.  The Cream Tea on arrival was most welcome.  Charley really enjoyed her day with Jonah and we do not think she wanted to come back to us!

Thank you for a wonderful relaxing week. Everything has been thought about in this cottage.  The cottage is homely and beautiful.  NESSA 🐕 and the girls enjoyed playing in the garden and the woods.  We will be back!

We leave Basel Cottage reluctantly.   The kindness of our hosts will be a lasting memory as will the comfort and elegance of the cottage and the beauty of the surroundings.  Thank you Sue, thank you Jonah, for providing all that makes for a very enjoyable holiday.

Thank you for such a lovely time at Basel Cottage.  I love the thought of having all that ground, it has been such fun staying here, I do not want to leave! (Isabel).  I hope we can come again to stay in your lovely cottage (Millie).  We all loved your woods, cottage, bird table and the ‘mountains in the woods’ (Percy). We do not think that Bruce the Dog wants to leave!

We have had a lovely week at Basel Cottage.  Thanks to Sue and Jonah for the warm welcome and delicious Cream Tea!  We have enjoyed watching the birds and exploring the woods and local area.  Visited Hay on Wye, Brecon Car Show, Carreg Cennen Castle and Pembrey Beach – all fantastic! We had another marvellous week here in Basel Cottage thanks to Sue & Jonah, this beautiful cottage and terrace, excellent walks and a lot of delicious Brownies and cream teas! We hope to come back soon.

We have had a great week and intend to return.  Hope to go the National Botanic Garden of Wales again on another ‘Doggy Day’ in the Spring.

We have really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage.  We received a very warm welcome and a delicious Cream Tea. Our favourite walks were Four Waterfalls near Ystradfellte and the RSPB Reserve and Lake Brianne Dam.  Can also recommend the train to Knighton to walk parts of Offa’s Dyke, where there is a very good Visitor Centre.  We loved the local shops in Llandovery, superb choice of good food! Highly recommend No. 14 Coffee Shop for “to die-for” chocolate Brownies!  Thank you Jonah and Sue for everything and all the best for the future.

Our stay in the Brecon Beacons was enhanced by your kind hospitality and your beautiful cottage.  The morning drama at the Bird Table was great fun and set the mood for the day!  Once again, thank you very much.
