We have had a lovely holiday at Basel Cottage.  The cottage was spotless which was very reassuring in these uncertain times – Thank You! Thank you for the warm welcome and delicious scones on arrival – lovely treat!  The dogs enjoyed roaming the garden and the woods. Our highlight was Pen Y Fan on a beautiful sunny morning.  All the best for the rest of the season.  Stay healthy and safe. Thank you Sue and Jonah!

From the moment Sue telephoned me at home before starting our holiday, I felt totally reassured by the current measures she had undertaken in the present climate to ensure that we had a relaxing holiday.  We received a very warm welcome from Sue and Jonah on arrival at Basel Cottage – they are excellent hosts. This holiday home is a credit to all their hard work.  Well appointed home with a fascinating history, set within glorious grounds.  Enjoyed the walks straight from the door especially the woods.  Wishing you both and your lovely dogs all the very best for the future.

Basel Cottage has exceeded all our expectations!  We have enjoyed a beautiful few days here.  The safe fields and wood are fantastic for our two young dogs to roam and run to their hearts content.  Sue and Jonah, you are the perfect hosts and really have thought of everything to ensure your guests have a wonderful stay at Basel Cottage.  We look forward to visiting again, maybe in the Spring to see the bluebells!  Thank you for sharing your little bit of paradise XXX.

Such a lovely cottage and warm welcome on arrival.  The Cream Tea went down very well.  Although it rained every day ( not all day each day thank goodness!) we had a great time visiting lots of places.  We had some lovely meals in The Kings Head Inn in Llandovery.  Hope to return again in the Spring!  Many thanks Sue and Jonah and see you soon Barney and Teddy x

By far the best cottage we have stayed in!!  Sue and Jonah welcomed us with such warmth and have continued to be great hosts and company throughout our stay.  We cannot wait to come back again!!  Willow has loved the field and woods as well as sitting in the window watching the birds.  Thank you for a relaxing break.  This is a very special, magical place.
