Dear Sue and Jonah, thank you for a most fantastic short break, our first in two years.  It met our anticipation and more!!!  A perfect break for us and our beloved dogs.  It was also lovely to see you both again after all this time and we will definately be returning again and again……… Thanks so much.

A fabulous relaxing week, helped along by the beautiful sunshine.  Gary had great fun metal detecting and he found a Roman Coin, George III 1/2 Penny, Victorian Penny and many artefacts spanning approximately 300 years!  Ghost our Husky has left his ‘glitter’ in the woods for the birds to enjoy!  A beautiful cottage, lovely and homely.

Thanks Sue & Jonah for another lovely week at Basel Cottage.  Everything is wonderful and peaceful as usual.  The boys have really enjoyed themselves and love meeting Barney and Teddy.  We hope to be back again in the winter months.  XX

We have had a wonderful, productive, relaxing and very happy week at Basel Cottage.  The rain has not dampened our spirits and we have still enjoyed exploring this beautiful landscape. Thank you Sue and Jonah for a wonderful break.  We’ve really loved the cottage and the wonderful grounds.  Enjoyed the ‘Pitch & Putt’ and the Mulled Wine in the Cabin.  You are wonderful hosts!  Our boys loved going for walks with Barney & Teddy.  It’s the best holiday cottage we have ever been to.  So clean and fresh, just like home from home!  Hope to visit again very soon.  Jayne, Steve, Jack & Joe x

Another lovely week at Basel – I think this is our 7th time and it feels like a home from home!  So good to see Sue, Jonah as always Barney and Ted.  The Autumn colours are just stunning and the misty, moisty mornings ethereal – we miss the blaze of colours on the Lizard where we live!  Thank you both for a really convivial evening in the Cabin in the Woods.  A la prochaine ………

Another fantastic visit to Basel Cottage.  It has been wonderful to be able to spend a few relaxing days exploring and trying out the new additions.  Although the weather didn’t encourage us to sit at the firepit, the cabin in the woods made for a fab retreat.  Thank you Sue & Jonah for making us feel welcome as ever.  The cwtch with Barney & Teddy did the trick!
