Oh my, what can we say about Basel Cottage?  It’s probably the first self catering place we’ve stayed that is absolutely spotless!  Honestly, you have both thought of everything to make our stay perfect.  The weather was fantastic, a little too hot at times and Ernie loved spending time with Teddy and Barney – A doggy paradise!  Thank you Jonah and Sue for being such fantastic hosts – we will definitely be coming back!

Thank you for an amazing holiday!  The cottage is perfect and spotlessly clean.  Garden/Grounds are fab, we all had a great time exploring and I don’t think Lola wants to leave.  The boys had Archery and Target Air Rifle Shooting with Jonah – this was top notch! – Fabulous tuition, relaxed and not rushed – he was a very patient tutor with my excited boys.  Not often we find somewhere we would like to return but we will be back.  Thanks Sue, Jonah, Barney and Teddy x

Paul and Tessa brought me here as part of my 80th Birthday present – I can say that it’s the best present I have ever had! The Cottage – perfect.  The Weather – perfect. The Grounds and Garden – perfect.  Our Hosts – perfect.  Barney and Teddy – perfect. We have had a marvelous time, thank you.  You are so friendly and welcoming, we feel we have made two nice new friends. Elvira, Tessa & Paul and a woof – woof from Poppy and Daisy.      

Robbie has enjoyed his first holiday and learnt a lot.  A week of fabulous weather – last June was wet and soggy so enjoyed the sunshine this time.

This is our first visit and certainly will not be our last!  Otto had an amazing holiday exploring the woods and chasing his ball.  Pure bliss for him, no collar on for the length of his stay which was wonderful.  Our few nights here were relaxing and comfortable.  Sue and Jonah were the perfect hosts – THANK YOU for being you!  Sadly, do not want to go but look forward to next time.

What a wonderful holiday and beautiful cottage!  A heartfelt thank you to Sue and Jonah (not forgetting Barney & Teddy) for being such phenomenal hosts.  You were always on hand for advice regarding walks and nothing was too much trouble.  Monty has absolutely loved running free in your fields, exploring your woods and playing in the stream, especially with his new buddies, Barney and Teddy.  He does not want to leave and neither do we.  Loved it all!  Thank you so much xx

This is our 6th visit to Basel Cottage and each time it seems to get better and better!  The weather has been wonderful.  We only ventured out once to Zip Wire World, Aberdare – everybody loved it!  We had a nice meal at The King’s Head in Llandovery.  We spent most of our time on site with Archery, Golf, Table Tennis, Darts and Billiards.  Looking forward to returning in July. x

We have just enjoyed our second stay at Basel Cottage and are very impressed by the facilities offered by Sue and Jonah. These include, pitch and putt, a woodland chalet, fire pit and a comfortable outdoor seating area. The cottage itself is spotless and has all of the amenities you would wish for on holiday. It is totally welcoming as are Sue and Jonah and their lovely poodles. Barney made himself very comfortable on my lap. We would recommend Basel Cottage to anyone wishing to tour the Brecons and South Wales generally. Thank you Sue and Jonah for a lovely holiday, we can’t wait to be with you again.
